Before you start you need:

           1)      Visual Studio 2013 update 3 or Later (later is better)

           2)      A subscription to Microsoft Azure.

Open Visual Studio > Tools > Extensions and Updates…

Select online in left and type “insights” in the right side search box, as shown below:

Select “Developer Analytics Tools” in the search result, and download it.

It will ask you to restart the visual studio for the changes to take effect. Restart it.

Once it opens the visual studio, File > New > Project, you will find “Application Insights”.
